In an Interactive Atmosphere.. The Introductory Session of “Writing.. Dance.. Healing” Launches

In an engaging and interactive atmosphere, Elles Publishing House launched the second edition of its “Writing.. Dance.. Healing” program, bringing together team members and new participants, along with several women from the first cohort. In a thoughtful and supportive gesture, returning participants shared their personal experiences and spoke about how the extended journey of writing, dance, and healing influenced their self-awareness and personal growth.

The new edition follows a six-month pilot experience that included 13 women and was built on the integration of reading, dance, and writing as connected paths for expression and healing. The first round resulted in the collective book “The Body Remembers, Writing Heals.”

This year, the workshop returns with deeper experience and a wider space for exploration, inviting participants to begin an individual and collective journey grounded in compassion, awareness, and creative engagement with personal stories.

The program is structured around three main components: (Reading and discussion circles- Therapeutic dance workshops- An intensive four-day writing camp outside Cairo).

At the end of the journey, participants collaborate on producing a collective book featuring their written texts.
