The second session of “Writing Dancing and Healing” focused on managing pain and understanding the body’s physical responses to pressure or being forced to act against one’s will.
The session also included a detailed explanation of brain function and structure from early human development, and how neural architecture governs emotions and reactions, including discussions on panic attacks and coping strategies.
The session concluded with a viewing of the film Inside Out, deepening participants’ understanding of emotional experiences and the mind-body connection, alongside opportunities to apply these insights to personal experiences.
