Elles organized the evening “Sudanese Tales & Music” as part of its cultural program
during Ramadan, drawing a remarkable audience turnout and lively engagement. The
night brought together Sudanese folk storytelling with the melodies of the oud, creating
a warm and immersive atmosphere.
The event featured a distinguished lineup of guests: Dr. Kamal Youssef, Sudanese
musician and academic, who offered musical interludes accompanying the stories;
Sudanese writer Ghada Badawi, who shared her narrative texts and personal
storytelling experiences; and Mohamed Abdel Salam, singer and oud player, who
guided the audience through a musical journey that gave the stories rhythm and voice.
