Elles Publishing House is preparing to host the “March Writing Marathon,” a dedicated
space for focus and creative flow within its cultural programs. This month, the marathon
will feature a special session with author Ahmed El Fakharany, who will discuss his
book “Exploring the Unique Pattern: On Writing, Reading, and Life… Lessons from
Great Short Story Writers”, coordinated by writer Hasnaa Hafez.
The marathon is inspired by the words of philosopher Alain Badiou: “Writing is a painful
act that requires companionship.” It offers participants the opportunity to overcome
writer’s block, start pending projects, and share texts in a supportive and safe
environment.
The event includes several hours of uninterrupted writing in the tranquil setting of Elles
Publishing House, structured writing periods interspersed with group reading sessions
and practical exercises.
The maximum number of participants is 10, ensuring a comfortable space for creativity
and interaction.
