Elles Publishing House has concluded the March edition of its “Elles Writing Marathon,” held as part of its cultural activities, in an interactive atmosphere that combined focus, creativity, and the exchange of experiences among participants.

The marathon featured writer Ahmed El-Fakharany, who discussed his book “Exploring the Unique Pattern: On Writing, Reading, and Life.. Lessons from Great Short Story Writers” with attendees. The conversation was moderated by writer Hassnaa Hafez, the marathon coordinator, alongside writer Ragaa’i Moussa, founder of Elles Publishing House.

During the session, El-Fakharany shared insights from his personal writing journey, addressing key challenges faced by writers—most notably writer’s block—and ways to overcome it. He also highlighted the importance of maintaining a consistent writing routine to sustain progress and develop one’s creative projects.

Participants also contributed their own experiences and questions, creating an open dialogue on developing a personal style and finding each writer’s unique voice.

The marathon included intensive writing sessions in a quiet, focus-friendly environment, in addition to group reading discussions and practical exercises that encouraged participants to start or continue their postponed writing projects.
