Elles Publishing House participated in the Cairo International Comics Festival (CairoComix) through a book signing of “Ana w Al-Qahira.” The book emerged from the long-running workshop Women and the City.
It brings together multiple voices of women writing about Cairo its fears and longings, its alleys as living memory, and everyday acts of reclaiming and resistance.
The stories were edited by Ragai Moussa, with comics supervision by Mohamed Wahba El-Shenawy. The event took place at Mahmoud Mokhtar Museum, Zamalek.
