Elles Publishing House has concluded the sessions of the fifth edition of the Feminist Translation Workshop, following a fruitful journey that brought participants together around feminist translation and collective learning.
This year’s edition focused on Feminist Decoloniality, with participants working on feminist academic texts through reading, discussion, and collaborative translation.
The Feminist Translation Workshop is part of Elles Publishing House’s ongoing programs dedicated to producing feminist knowledge in Arabic and creating spaces for collective learning and exchanging experiences around translation and its practices. The workshop began with its first edition in 2022 and has since grown into an ongoing collective experience for producing feminist translations and knowledge in Arabic.
