Who are we?

Honna/Elles was founded in May 2017, it’s the first feminist publishing house in Arabic speaking belt in the MENA and Africa regions. Honna/Elles is working to challenge the patriarchal dominance over the industry of publishing at both the national and the regional levels. We aspire to become a platform and a center for spreading, and producing, a culture of gender equality that abolishes all forms of discrimination, be it on the basis of religion, gender, ethnicity… etc.
