This month, Honna launches its new workshop, “We Speak to Be Free”, a specialized training in feminist podcast production that runs over two months, with sessions held twice a week.
The workshop focuses on developing participants’ skills in writing for audio, recording, editing, and selecting feminist topics that reflect women’s voices and experiences across different fields.
It is led by Magid Makram — an independent filmmaker, photographer, and podcaster — who accompanies participants through every stage, from shaping an idea to producing a full podcast.
#WeSpeakToBeFree marks a new step in Honna’s ongoing project of feminist knowledge production, exploring multiple forms of expression — from writing to sound — as part of its commitment to expanding spaces for collective reflection and creative freedom.
