The first session of the Comics Workshop at Honna Feminist Lab, led by writer and artist Salma El Tarzi, brought participants together to explore storytelling techniques and the process of creating comics.
During the session, participants were introduced to the basics of cinematic storytelling, particularly screenwriting, and began developing their ideas and transforming them into comics stories, as part of a process that moves from developing an idea and writing to drawing and publication.
The workshop is part of Honna Feminist Lab’s programs, which create spaces for learning, experimentation, and developing creative projects, with a focus on comics as a tool for storytelling and expression.
