The City Through a Feminist Lens | Feminist Reading and Research Group Continues Its Sessions at Elles Publishing House

|

Elles Publishing House continues the third edition of its Feminist Reading and Research Group, held this year under the theme “The City Through a Feminist Lens,” inviting participants to rethink women’s relationship with the city and public space through collective reading and discussion.

The session explored questions rooted in everyday life and women’s lived experiences, including: How do mothers experience the city? Can women claim the freedom to wander, an act long associated with curiosity, knowledge, and pleasure? How has the city changed with women’s increased presence in public life? And where can women truly find space for themselves within the city?

The reading group aims to create a space for reflection and dialogue, encouraging participants to think critically about the city from a feminist perspective.
