Alas, my father has passed away—he was perhaps the one person who could have told me so much, so much about her. My father, whom you resemble greatly. I am pleased to speak with you, for my knowledge of matters concerning you is limited—far less than what would be sufficient. Let me begin with the story of the thieves who share our name. The audacity of this tale suits me perfectly, and I hope that it will not trouble you either.
