Elles Publishing House hosted a signing and discussion event for the book “Is Anybody Here? – Women Writing the Fragment” in a conversation moderated by writer and poet Eman El-Sebaie, focusing on the experience of fragmented writing.
Edited and introduced by Ragai Moussa, the book is the outcome of the annual writing workshop organized by Elles Publishing House in Saint Catherine, which aims to create a space for experimentation and collective writing.
The event featured the participation of writers Hasnaa Hafez, Sara Raafat, Hala Nemr, Sahar Hanan, Ghada Badawy, and Nora El-Gendy, while writer Fatima Al-Kinani joined online. The discussion explored personal writing experiences and the practice of fragment writing in particular.
